The scolopendras are effective predators that hunt small animals, usually arthropods. Prey is caught between the large number of legs. Then, twisting the body, they nail clamps poisonous, paralyzing and killing their prey. It has exaggerated the capacity of its venom, in fact, only one case of death by the bite of the scolopendras.
Most surprising is that the centipede, is able to hunt larger animals and poisonous animals.
